Being in love often leads to sex, but the opposite is not always true! And this may sound strange, but sometime having sex can actually work against you when it comes to finding love. So, if you're using sex to get love, you may just end up more than a bit disappointed.
Sex means different things to different people. So does love. Of course, sometimes, having sex makes you feel like you're in love, but watch out - it can fool you. You may well end up thinking you're in love because of the way a person makes you feel physically - and this is never the best reason for a relationship!
Remember, when two people get physical too quickly, embarrassment can set in. As a result, there is a tendency to pull away. There's a great deal of truth in the saying "It's easy to bare your body -- much harder to bare your soul". Even though sex feels like a short cut to love and intimacy, don't be fooled. It never is.
In fact, people who take time over first becoming friends before actually having sex usually become closer and more intimate. Maybe that's love!
