Let's not confuse kissing with smooching. Kissing is serious business and the activity so performed communicates many things. A passionate message that there's more to come, the farewell kisses in joy or sorrow, the sexual desire kiss and much more.

What a pre-school is to education, kissing is to building romantic relationships. The famous poet Robert Browning said this of kissing,

"The most eternal - just that one and no more
When ecstasy's utmost we clutch at the core
While cheeks burn, arms open, eyes shut, and lips meet!"

Kissing is a curtain raiser to love making. No one is born a great kisser. So don't believe anyone who says that. There's no crash course in kissing. Experience is required. To kiss and kiss well, you need a partner. Kissing communicates ones desires, passion and your love. Obviously, there has to be someone to receive what you feel.

The first kiss is a thrilling experience. It's usually a mess and understandable. You don't exactly get it right the first time, teeth rub against teeth, lips press too hard, some people choke because one is trying to suck the breath out of the other, tongues dart in and out and there's a whole lot slurping going on. One last thought. Remember, that most women like being kissed gently. They like your tongue to explore and not go wild like a bull in china shop.

A good kiss is all about coordinated movement of the two bodies in question. Invariably, during a kiss all systems are a-go! Hands and fingers move delicately, bodies rub and they rub hard, lips squeeze lips, tongues dart in and out of each other's mouths and when its done you really don't know how long you kissed?

When to kiss is a good question. It's possible it may happen in the first date or could happen much, much later. All depends on those involved. Always remember, kissing is the elixir of arousing passion and if the kissing reaches a 'high', then it could lead to having sex. Hence, there may be some who wish to go all the way and some may say, "Hey! This is as far as I go." That ought to keep the 'pecking order' in check.
