Here are some common concerns that everyone goes through at your age!

There must be something wrong with me! I don't have a steady!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that! Really. You can have as much fun being "single" or with a group of friends! If you're really desperate for a steady boyfriend/girlfriend you need to ask yourself why. Will it make you more acceptable to your friends? Or more attractive? Or less lonely? If any of these are your reasons then you really need to think again.

The breast size syndrome!
Hummm, that is a toughie! You have been watching too much of Baywatch! Well, what you have to remember is breasts are just breasts. And all sizes and shapes are normal. Hey, just take a look around you - you'll be surprised at the different shapes and sizes you'll find!

Sounds scary! Does it hurt?
We know what that concern means! Well, sex is scary when you do it for the wrong reasons! Actually it's exciting, and with the right person can be very enjoyable. Sex should not hurt - if it does maybe one or both of you are not relaxed which really means you don't want to do it just then!

BO Blues
Body Odor happens when sweat dries on clothes. Now we know that sweating is completely normal and it happens to everyone. It only seems worse during puberty because the body's sweat glands have gone a bit wild. However, it's nothing to worry about, or feel bad about. Use an antiperspirant and wear fresh clothes. Dirty jeans may make a great fashion statement, but won't do anything to the BO!

I'm the only one who hasn't yet got periods!
There is no 'normal' age for periods to start. Some girls begin as young as 10, others as late as 16/17 years. Check with your mom, if she started hers late, chances are you will too! And don't worry, arrive they will! And when they do, you'll wonder why you were in such a rush!

Sex and love
Never mind what you've been told, sex doesn't always lead to love. If you have sex in the hope it will make someone love you, you're likely to be disappointed. Similarly, if you love someone, sex doesn't have to follow!
