So how do you know when it's happening? For boys, ejaculation is the first sign that they are going through puberty. This means that you are sexually excited and aroused. Your penis fills with blood, and gets hard and erect. It is quite normal for boys and young men to get erections for no reason at all. But it can be a bit embarrassing when that happens!

When you get very excited, a sticky liquid spurts out of the erect penis. This is called "coming." You feel good when this happens, and the feeling is referred to as a climax or orgasm. The spurting of the fluid is called ejaculation. Very often, ejaculation can happen while a boy is sleeping. This is called a "wet dream" and is the most normal thing under the sun during puberty!

Boys see hormonal changes, too. Their testicles get bigger and hang lower. Often one hangs lower than the other. Their penises grow larger. Their penises also get hard more often and unexpectedly.

Oh, the hair - well that beard and mustache starts appearing usually after your voice changes. Beards grow very slowly for the first couple of years. Sometimes boys' breasts become tender and large, too. Usually this lasts only a year or two, and then their breast size returns to normal again - so don't panic when that happens!

To sum up, as you slowly become a man, here's what you'll experience:

	Grow taller between 13 and 14 years old - whew finally!
	Grow larger ears, hands and feet - the girls will still find you interesting!
	Grow larger penis and scrotum around 12 years old - oops.
	Develop (temporarily) larger and more sensitive breasts (yes, breasts)
	Experience frequent erections, ejaculations and "wet dreams".
	Develop larger muscles and broader shoulders - finally something that makes sense.

And hey, none of this will happen overnight - most often changes in the body start happening when you're between 10 and 12 and are complete by the time you are 20. Oh yes, it's a long, sometimes strange, process.
